So I'm bringing you a share and a great share at that. Earlier this year I was introduced to Influenster. At the time they had the older interface. I can't remember how I stumbled across it. I think I was on youtube and seen someone I was subscribed to talking about it. This was earlier this year before relaunch of the new website which was September 27th 2012. At the time I wasn't on as much I found it to be boring and uninspiring and overwhelming and I just couldn't get with it but I did unlock some of my badges. I did enough to receive my first voxboxer. Now let me tell you more about Influenster for those that don't know anything about it. Influenster is almost similar to Klout. If anyone knows about Klout you would understand what Influenster is about. In fact Influenster was out way before Klout even came into the picture. Influenster is a free-to-join community of invited trendsetters who live to give opinions of products and experiences. Influenster creates links between brands and members to reward participation and influence future products.
Basically, Influenster is a place for culture junkies to come together and share their unique opinions of products and experiences. Active members of Influenster get exclusive access to deals, promotions, and swag from brands that thrive off the input (the good, the bad, and the ugly -- they just want to know what's up.)
As a member you gain so many benefits! Not only do you have the opportunity to POSSIBLY get free products but you get to share your experiences with others and read others reviews on different products. Influenster has much to offer.
They just relaunched their site and the site looks totally different from the old site. It's pleasing to the eye and although it can be a little time consuming to unlock the badges it's definitely worth going on to do so. They definitely make you work for your free products which I think is a good thing. And if you are patient you wouldn't mind the hard work.
