Hey my beauties, well it's that time again...It's time to Mix & Mingle! And what better time and place to do so. This year James Vincent is making his rounds back Houston Texas once again to connect with the artists in the beauty industry. This year he will be making his appearance at The Perfect Face and I'm so excited!
Last year I attended The Makeup Show Dallas as the Brand Ambassador of the show and also Blogger of the show. I had a chnace to be a part of the Bloggers Preview last year and James mentioned The Perfect Face and some of his fav products from them that we received in our bags so I felt that it was only right for us to host his meetup at The Perfect Face not only because he adores them but also to connect the artists with the brand. So I'm excited about him coming back to Houston! This will be a pre-kick off for The Makeup Show Dallas.
I'm pretty sure you all are wondering who James Vincent is...I can say a lot about him but I'll keep it as short as possible and let you do the rest of your research. James Vincent is not only the Director of Education & Artist Relationships of The Makeup Show but he is the face of many brands that we know of today. He has paved the way for artists in the industry and is one of the reasons why The Makeup Show exists. He's also the Director of Education & Artist Relationships for The Powder Group and the WWD Beaty Inc Award Winning Ardency Inn. James has worked with makeup lines and makeup artists at all levels of the industry. He's worked in nearly every genre of the makeup industry. Film and theatre, television and celebrity work, editorial and runway work and includes training and product development positions for such companies that we love such as MAC, Stila, Armani, YSL, and Make Up For Ever. James work in the music industry includes musicians such as Lady GaGa, Florence and The Machine, Courtney Love, Joan Lett, and Foo Fighters. He's worked with leading ladies like Liv Tyler, Reese Witherspoon and Jane Fonda and worked with OUR PRESIDENT Barack Obama. James is currently the Beauty Editor for On Makeup Magazine and Galore Magazine. He contributes to countless blogs and publications including his weekly series Duble Dare for Refinery 29 and his weekly column for Beautylish on Building a Better Makeup Kit. I can go on and on his resume is pretty impressive and he is well respected in the industry.
The goal is to connect the artist to the brand and the artist to the educator. This is critical for our careers because these are the people that our opportunities come from.
