Tumeric is a plant that is derived from southwest India and is a member of the ginger family. So yes, Tumeric is a spice. It can be peeled and eaten or grounded to a fine powder.

Recently, studies have shown the healing properties of tumeric and how this powerful herb is a great treatment and preventative for not only certain medical conditions but also skin conditions. Because Tumeric is:

  • anti-inflammatory
  • high in antioxidant
  • has anti-fungal properties
  • and is anti-viral
I can go into all the benefits of tumeric but we're going to talk about HYPERPIGMENTATION which is one of the main signs of aging.

Hyperpigmentation is a very common skin condition and can be caused by...

  • or hormonal imbalance.
Gratefully the treatment of "tumeric"  will fades stubborn patches of pigmentation and will give you perfect even skin tone again. Sometimes you will even see instant results.

  1. I love this post because I have been battling acne for the past few years and I am willing to try anything NATURAL to get back to healthy skin. I recently found out that Carrot Juice helps internally, but I'm still having trouble with my outward appearance as far as scarring and hyper pigmentation. I would like faster results (I mean who doesn't want fast results? lol), so this looks like it'll be worth a try! Thanks so much for sharing! xo www.lovemarcella.com
