If you haven't heard, Ashley Rose of +Sugar & Cloth just launched her newest project; a massive wall of color in the East Downtown area of Houston. Unfortunately, I missed the official launch party of the wall, but I made sure to come out as soon as possible. This past Sunday, I paid a visit to the +Sugar & Cloth / Ashley Rose Color Wall to see it for myself. OMG! When I pulled up to the wall I was in amazement! This wall is every blogger & photographer’s dream. Every color of the rainbow is on one wall and you're able to be as creative as you like. And the best part? IT'S FREE! I’ve made some amazing changes to my blog, integrating more lifestyle and fashion. You will be seeing a lot more of me in front of the camera and perhaps a lot more of this wall. I, along with a few friends of mine came out to this wall and took tons of photos. Special thanks to Eleanor Weaver, who is a photographer at Forever Memories Fotography for taking our photos. I think this was the perfect way to showcase my style. I photographed two looks. Now I know what models go through. (GEEZ, it's tiring and not easy when you have to discreetly change clothes) Check out some of the photos that were taken below; I'm even sharing the bloopers.
Dress from Burlington | Purse from a boutique on Harwin | Vintage Shoes from The Cottage Shop Houston | Pendant Necklace from Zulu Creative
I styled two looks, but I’m only sharing one of the looks today because the second look was at a different location. For this look I went with a classic pin-up hairstyle, but the wind wouldn't let me be great. I took a before photo of my hairstyle before the wind destroyed my hair.
No matter how many selfies I take, being in front of the camera makes me uncomfortable. When somebody else is capturing me you're going to get one of five reactions from me:
1 The awkward side of me
2 The goofy side of me (which is partially resulting from me being uncomfortable)
3 The uncomfortable smile
4 My typical pageant smile
5 And the off guard capture
My best photos are the photos where I’m caught off guard..
Here are the photos that didn't make the cut but I decided to share anyway!!! I find them to be hilarious because I had a hard time getting off the ground in these shoes.
Ok here we go...
Well...
NOPE! That didn't work out.
I felt the best thing for me was to stay on the ground for the remainder of the photoshoot.

I really had a wonderful time and I’m looking forward to showcasing more of my personal style! Have you been by to the +Sugar & Cloth Color Wall yet? If not, you must go check it out on 3302 Canal Street, Houston, TX 77002.
